| In the middle of the Choctawhatchee Bay, Philly Joe capsized his canoe. He was rescued by a number of nearby boaters and well wishers. | |

Philly Joe was uninjured and even found a lot to laugh about during the whole incident. |

He lost a great deal of equipment, but his canoe floated and he was brought ashore. |
|
|
The local police force arrived and generously provided for Philly Joe's needs while on land: Transportation, meals and housing. The Military, Police and Firemen all deserve our thanks for their |
